NEW YORK — Submission Radio was on hand at Madison Square Garden for the ceremonial weigh-ins, featuring the fighters of UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor.
The 15,000+ fans (a UFC weigh-in attendance record) roared loudly as the fighters made their way through the curtains and got in each other’s faces ahead of their bouts.
Then, before anyone had time to leave their seats and make a b-line for the car park, Joe Rogan announced a surprise look at the main event of UFC 207: Nunes vs. Rousey. In a shocking twist, Rousey herself emerged moments later to meet UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes in the middle of the stage and square off.
