About SR

Submission Radio is Australia and New Zealand’s biggest weekly Mixed Martial Arts show. Based out of Melbourne, Australia, the show began in March 2014 as a way to connect Australian MMA fans to the world, as well as the fighters that Aussies wanted to hear from. Having a rich history in combat culture, it was only natural that Australians and Kiwis would have a dedicated MMA show to call their own.

Submission Radio has since grown to be one of the world’s premiere Mixed Martial Arts shows, officially becoming a part of the SB Nation Network, and has been praised by media, journalists, and fighters alike. Known for its fun and captivating interviews, fighters get a chance to tell their story and gain exposure in not only Australia, but the world. The show has been commended for consistently featuring high-profile guests and delivering news on a weekly basis.

In May of 2017, Submission Radio continued expansion and signed on with Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) to officially become a part of PodcastOne Australia. SCA reaches 95% of the country with assets in television, digital and radio networks such as The Hit Network (Australia’s number 1 FM radio network) and Triple M (second largest radio network in Australia). Submission Radio is cross-promoted via the above platforms and listened to weekly by hundreds of thousands of fans, making it the most influential MMA show in Australia and New Zealand.
