The AKA staple mate makes his first appearance to talk about his beefs with Michael Bisping, Vitor Belfort, Wanderlei Silva, and a possible fight against his most polite challenger, Lyoto Machida. Luke shares his thoughts on Michael Bisping’s return to form post eye surgery, and why he thinks Vitor Belfort will not have the same success when he returns against Chris Weidman at UFC 181. The San Jose surfer also weighs in on training partner Daniel Cormier’s big fight against Jon Jones, the media brawl, the “hot mic” incident on ESPN, and how he’s helping DC prepare to defeat “Bones” and become the new Light Heavyweight Champion of the world. Rockhold also talks about his own chances in the Light Heavyweight Division, his thoughts on Jon Jones, a potential fight between the two, and of course surfing down under in Australia.

Dark horse of the welterweight division Tarec Saffeidine also makes his debut appearance on Submission Radio to chat about his upcoming fight against Rory Macdonald. Tarec also talks about the state of the welterweight division, Robbie Lawler vs Matt Brown, Johny Hendricks as champ, a rematch against Tyron Woodley, brining MMA to Belgium in the way Conor McGregor brought it to Ireland, his son’s kicking game, and why he’s a romantic guy. “Sponge” is one of the nicest guys, but he doesn’t shy away from his opinions on why he believes he has Rory’s number, and his title aspirations.

Manny Gamburyan stops by to talk about his upcoming debut in his new weight class of 135. The “Anvil” talks about working with Mike Dolce and what it’s been like getting trim enough fight in the division that features such guys as Urijah Faber, TJ Dillashaw, Renan Barao, Takeya Mizugaki, Dominick Cruz and Bryan Caraway to name a few. Speaking of Caraway, Manny talks about a possible fight with Brian, and why he thinks that Caraway doesn’t want to fight him. The Armenian also weighs in on the Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano fight, his upcoming opponent Cody Gibson, his title aspirations, and almost winning the title of Ultimate Fighter against Nate Diaz.
