UFC Melbourne’s Robert Whittaker on Bisping and Romero: “I’ll Get To Them”

Relaxed Robert Whittaker believes that win over Derek Brunson could earn him a shot at the middleweight title.

Melbourne, VIC — Before he takes on Derek Brunson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 101, Sydney’s own Robert Whittaker spoke to Submission Radio about a wide range of topics, including the extra media attention he’s received after being elevated to the top of the card, getting his name out to foreign markets, Brunson’s wrestling and the match-up at hand, his standings in the crowded middleweight division and what a win over Brunson will do for him, the expected title fight between Michael Bisping and Yoel Romero, and more.

UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Brunson takes place at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Victoria and will be available to Australians on Foxtel’s Fox Sport at 2pm on November 27th (AEST), with prelims kicking off at 12pm.
